Restoration & Replication

Restoration involves the careful re-building of an old piece of ironwork to its original glory. The work is cleaned, any damaged pieces are repaired or replaced and any missing pieces are made and added to complete the work.

Conservation is a similar process but any damage or wear is allowed to show as it is an integral part of the history of the work. Where pieces have to be repaired or replaced for the structural integrity of the work this is done in such a way that it is clearly visible.

We produce traditional work to fit a particular setting, style or to match existing work as well of course.
